2001: A Space Odyssey coming to Egyptian in 70mm

Sure, you could go see 2001: A Space Odyssey in DCP at the ArcLight Cinemas this month, but why do that when you can wait till December, when the American Cinematheque will screen a new 70mm print of Stanley Kubrick’s monumental science fiction masterpiece at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood?

Screenings will take place on December 9-11, 16-18, and 26-27, at 7:30pm each night. The address for the Egyptian is: 6712 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, CA 90028.

There will be special ticket prices for this event: $15 General, $14 Student/Senior, $13 Cinematheque Members. No vouchers.
