2013 Halloween Horror Screenings at the New Beverly

The New Beverly Cinema is opening the vault and extracting a series of darkly disturbing horror films for your viewing pleasure this Halloween. Highlights include their 6th Annual All-Night Horror Show starting at 7:30pm on Saturday October 19, and an Edgar Allan Poe Double Bill with Stuart Gordon and Jeffrey Combs in person on October 29 & 30 (both of which we have listed separately).

Those are only proverbial tips on an iceberg of chilling proportions. Your mileage may vary, but we especially recommend The Mystery of the Wax Museum (later remade in 3D as House of Wax with Vincent Price). The 1932 original is creaky and old-fashioned, but it still has a peculiar thrill to it, and theatrical screenings are very rare these days.
