Zombies will crawl back to Santa Monica for Wok-ing Dead Halloween Party 2015

Watch out for Zombies in Santa Monica on Halloween Night 2015! The living dead will return to the Santa Monica Pier for the 3rd Annual Zombie Crawl. Shambling along 5th Street, they will imbibe spirits at participating locations, before catching the last few hours of the Wok-ing Dead Halloween Party in the Wokano Restaurant.

The Zombie Crawl begins at 6:30pm at Rusty’s Surf Ranch on the Santa Monica Pier. Participants get a wristband entitling them to drink specials at five local bars. Makeup artists will help transform guest, who will be required to act dead (arms extended, dragging a leg and moaning). Zombies move at their own (slow) pace, but one hour at each stop is suggested.

Besides Rusty’s and Wokcano, bars include: Big Dean’s Ocean Front Cafe, Del Frisco’s Grille, and Ye Olde King’s Head.

The After Party at Wokano (11pm-2am) is on a first-come, first-served basis, with limited capacity.

The Wok-ing Dead Halloween Party is technically a separate event. Though pub-crawling zombies may attend the After-Party from 11pm to 2am, there is separate admission for those who attend the party only, starting at 8pm. There will be DJ music, food and drink specials, and costume contest and other seasonal amusements.

Tickets for the Zombie Crawl are $15 in advance and $20 on the day of the event.

Tickets the Wok-ing Dead Halloween Party are $15 in advance and $20 at the door for General Admission; VIP front-of-the-line tickets are an extra $20 in advance and $30. There are also group rates and “haunted table” packages that run from $250 to $1,400.
