5th annual Nights of the Jack adds Halloween trick-or-treating

Nights of the Jack: A Halloween Jack O’Lantern Experience returns for Halloween 2022 with a few new tricks and treats up its sleeve. The mile-long outdoor trail through King Gillette Ranch, essentially a walk through a series of art installations featuring thousands of carved pumpkins, will add a live trick-or-treating experience the last four days of October, featuring live costumed characters handing out candy (shades of Cemetery Lane). Also new this season, there will be face-painting and a jungle animal scene on the trail.

Tailored for all ages, Nights of the Jack is family-friendly but not exclusively aimed at kids. While children can enjoy the spooky scenery, their parents can appreciate the artistic artistry, then relax in the Spookeasy, a bar featuring seasonally-themed cocktails. With two dozen food trucks on premises, abundant dining options are available, and Halloween merchandise can be purchase at the Souvenir Shop.

“We are thrilled to be celebrating our 5th annual Nights Of The Jack this year in Calabasas,” said Nights of the Jack co-founders, Ben Biscotti and Tony Schubert in a joint statement. “We look forward to entertaining everyone again with an immersive Halloween event that appeals to adults, families and children of all ages!”

Nights of the Jack is scheduled to be open for 25 dates, starting on September 30 and running October 31. Trick-or-treating takes place on October 28-31. Hours are 6-10pm nightly.

Tickets are sold in timed slots. Prices range from $29.99 to $44.99 Children two years old and under get in free.

King Gillette Ranch is located at 26800 Mulholland Highway in Calabasas, CA 91302. Get more information at nightsofthejack.com.
