Haunted Manor at LA County Fair

Various Halloween haunts get a jump on the seaon by opening early – often in the last week of September – but there is one that has the competition beat by a graveyard mile. During September, the people who put on Fearplex in October offer a “Haunted Manor” at the Los Angeles County Fair.

Unfortunately, the Fearplex official website does not feature this prominently, and good luck trying to find any information on the Fairgrounds’ website.

The fair runs through September 28. Hours are 11:00am to 10:00pm on Wednesday, 11:am to 11:00pm on Thursday, 11:00am to midnight on Friday, 10:00am to midnight on Saturday, and 10:00 am to 10:00pm on Sunday. Admission r;uns from $17 for adults on weekends to free for children under five.

The Haunted Manor should be open as as long as the fair is. Tickets (which are separate from admission to the fair itself) cost $5 during the kid-friendly matinee and $7 for the scarier night-time version that begins at 7:00pm.
