Description: Heritage Square Museum presents its 2011 Halloween & Mourning Tours, which provide an educational and entertaining look at Victorian perspectives on death, funerals, and Spiritualism. Heritage Square consists of preserved mansions, forming a sort of living museum as costumed characters act the parts of Victorian homeowners, inviting you inside and explaining their rituals and customs.
This two-day event is appropriate for the whole family, but Sunday’s activities provide even more kid-friendly fun. Children 2-12 are invited to play period games, make 19th-century harvest crafts, choose a pumpkin fro the pumpkin patch, bob for apples, and listen to spooky stories told in the Ford House by the San Gabriel Valley Storytellers.
Admission: $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, $5 for children 6-12, free for children under 6 and for Museum Members.
