The Alamo Drafthouse in downtown Los Angeles will present Summer of Darkness: The Films of John Carpenter starting next month. Running from July 4 through August 30, the series will include seven titles: Escape from New York, Escape from L.A., Christine, Starman, The Thing, Prince of Darkness, and They Live. Most screenings start at 7:30, but sometimes vary so check listings.
