American Cinematheque Halloween Horror Screenings 2017

The American Cinematheque has an impressive lineup of horror films screening for Halloween 2017. The Cinematheque’s Hollywood home, the Egyptian Theatre, is currently running Beyond Fest 2017 through October 10, which includes a double bill of Hellraiser (1987) and Rawhead Rex (1986) on Saturday, October 7.

After that, the American Cinematheque will be screening over a dozen other horror, fantasy, and science-fiction titles in both the Egyptian and the Aero Theatre:

  • Suspria 4K at the Aero on October 13
  • Twister & Minority Report at the Aero on October 20
  • Flesh Eater at the Egyptian on October 22
  • Premier: Nails at the Egyptian on October 25
  • Mothra & Battle for Space at the Egyptian on October 26 (with Steve Ryfle in person)
  • Gojira & The H-Man at the Egyptian on October 27 (with Steve Ryfle in person)
  • The All-Night Horrorthon at the Aero on October 28 (includes An American Werewolf in London, The Tingler, Shocker, and Brainscan, among others)
  • The Haunting (1963) in the Aero on October 29
  • Ghostubsters (1984) at the Egyptian on October 29
  • Carnival of Souls (1962) at the Aero on October 31 (with Candace Hilligoss in person)
