Season’s Bleedings offers another Bite of the Count’s Den

The Count’s Den in downtown Los Angeles is once again inviting mere mortals to join the venue’s resident vampire clan for an interactive dinner show – this time in celebration of the holidays. Bite: Season’s Bleedings features the family of Countess Yizidora, whose sanguinary activities add a sinister, tongue-in-cheek twist to the Yuletide festivities. Guests will rub shoulders with the undead, sip cocktails, enjoy a holiday feast, and (hopefully) survive to tell about it.

Essentially a ninety-minute immersive experience, Bite: Season’s Bleedings is the latest effort from Immersive Arts Collective, a new non-profit group “dedicated to creating unique and  experimental projects. Before the formation of IAC, The Count’s Den presented Bite for Halloween 2019: the interactive theatre piece showcased intimate performances within the venue’s atmospheric setting, effectively immersing audiences in a world of vampires. IAC’s most recent production was the interactive murder-mystery A Grave Affair, which made a one-night-only debut in October but which will be coming back later this month.

Bite: Season’s Bleedings begins on November 13th and 14th, with subsequent dates on Fridays and Saturdays through December 18th. Performances will take place twice nightly, at 7:30 and 9:30. The show will include a two-course meal and specialty cocktails; vegan and gluten-free options are available. Guests can choose to participate in an optional Secret Santa ceremony, contributing a gift valued at under $10. Tickets are $75 per person. Admission is for ages 21 and over.

Cirque du Sique: A Grave Affair – which blends immersive theater, burlesque and variety performance – will run on Sunday nights at 7pm and 9pm from November 21 through December 19. Drinks and small bites are included. Tickets are $45.

All participants must be 21+ and a proof of vaccination or a negative covid test within 72 hours of the event must be provided.

The Count’s Den is located at 1039 S Olive Street, Los Angeles, CA 90015. For more information, call 818-669-5767, or visit the Immersive Arts Collective’s official website.
