Halloweekend Highlights in Antelope Valley
It’s finally here, the weekend before Halloween Night, and there are hundreds of spooky choices vying for your time. For those living at the north end of Los Angeles, seeking haunted attractions closer to home, there are several Antelope Valley Halloween Highlights you might want to check out.
Friday starts with a family-friendly Halloween festival in Quartz Hill. After that, not far away, is the AV Haunted House, a free walk-through haunt not recommended for children under 12, which will be open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night for those brave enough to visit.
Saturday starts with the Antelope Valley’s biggest Halloween event, BOOlevard, which draws hundreds of costumed attendees. There is plenty for kids to enjoy and – if you like costumes and food – plenty of fun for adults, too. After BOOlevard, stop by three of the best yard displays in the Antelope Valley, House of Webs, The Boneyard, and The Fresh Grave, already open and fully set up for the season.
A little further south, the fun continues with the Palmdale Haunted House, another walk-though haunt, intended for ages 13 and up. Then a Halloween home haunt easily the peer of any in Los Angeles, Restless Souls Manor, and just a couple blocks away is the amazing yard display known as Spooky Hollow. Back on the north end of town yet another walk-though home haunt, the Starview Manor, is selling a frightful experience for $5 a head. Restless Souls, Starview, and Spooky Hollow will also be open Halloween night.
Also on Saturday 7-midnight, Cedar Performing Arts presents Haunted Hollywood Manor Tour. A walk through haunt for $5. https://www.cedarperformingarts.com/updates–events.html
With two Halloween festivals, 4 yard displays, and a full 5 walk-through haunts to experience, this year offers more Antelope Valley Halloween Highlights than ever. Hopefully, the trend continues.
