Avengers, Ghostbusters & Nicodemus at The Void (trailer)
The Void has a new virtual reality attraction in rotation at its Santa Monica and Anaheim locations: Avengers: Damage Control, a collaboration between Marvel Studios and ILMxLAB, based on the Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to The Void’s official website: “Shuri has recruited your team to test a powerful new prototype design combining Wakandan and Stark technologies. When an enemy from the past seeks to steal the technology, you’ll fight alongside some of your favorite Avengers like Doctor Strange, Wasp, Ant-Man and more to stop the attack before they unleash an oppressive new age upon the world.” Available for “for a limited time,” Avengers: Damage Control is currently schedule through November.
Also available during the month of October are two of The Void’s VR experiences particularly suited to the Halloween season: Ghostbusters: Dimension and Nicodemus: Demon of Evanishment. Ghostbusters is fairly light-hearted, in keeping with the 1984 blockbuster that inspired it, Nicodemus is a full-blown haunted house horror show whose virtual reality gives real-world Halloween attractions a run for their money.
