Description: Castle Park in Riverside resurrects its annual Halloween event, which offers re-themed version of the year-round rides along with other special scary fun at night. This year’s mazes are Shiverside, Carnevil, Ghost Blasters, and Street Monsters. The revamped rides are The Bog Ride, Bump in the Night Cars, and the Scary Go Round.

Beginning the second weekend in October, Castle Dark will present Spooky Town, which offers contests (costume and pumpkin carving), a trick-or-treat trail, a train ride, an antique car ride,a hay maze and a pumpkin patch. The car ride takes you on a tour of Spooky Town, safe and fun for the whole family. The train ride delves into a tunnel haunted by ghosts, monsters, and mad scientists.

The Castle Dark attraction is open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in October. Spooky town opens on October 12.

Castle Park is open 1-11pm on Fridays, 11am to 11pm on Saturdays, and 11am to 10pm on Sundays. The Castle Dark mazes run 7-10pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 7-9pm on Sundays. The Trick or Treat Trail is open starting at 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Pumpkin carving contests are at 3pm on Saturdays and Sundays; costume contests at 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Tickets are $19.99 for unlimited rides, mazes, and the miniature golf course; $15.99 for unlimited rides and mazes; $9.99 for unlimited access to mazes.
