Description: Skirball offers this event in conjunction with their Golden Age of Comic Book exhibition. Join staff educator Michael Fritzen for an exploration of ZAP! POW! BAM! The Superhero: The Golden Age of Comic Books, 1938-1950. After drawing inspiration from the galleries, head over to the art studio and use clay, glue, fabric, and other special materials to create a one-of-a-kind 3D figure to take home.

Limited enrollment; advance registration required.

Especially recommended for ages 4-8; children must be accompanied by an adult. There are two workshop sessions, one at 10am and another at 1pm
