Dark Knight trilogy returning to IMAX theatres

In celebration of Batman's 80th birthday, Warner Brothers will screen Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy in a series of special one-night events, starting in Los Angeles at the Universal Cinema AMC CityWalk on March 30. Nolan will appear in person to answer questions in between the second two films, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises.

Subsequent screenings will take place in New York, San Francisco, Toronto, and Indianapolis. Nolan's taped comments from the Los Angeles engagement will be shown at these screenings.

Tickets for the Los Angeles event go on sale Wednesday morning at 9am.
