After Halloween 2019: Remaining Haunts
The tolling of the midnight bell on October 31 does not necessarily signal the end of the Halloween season. Many events continue through the first weekend of November, some even longer.
Below is a rundown of home haunts, horror film screenings, spooky immersive experiences, and scary interactive plays that are still open.
All Saints Lunatic Asylum haunted attraction in Apple Valley is open November 1 & 2, 7-10pm. Reviewed here.
Alt Delete, the interactive micro-experience from Delusion-creator Jon Braver runs through November 24 at the Dragon and the Meeple near USC; some dates are sold out. Reviewed here. At the same location, Delusion Lies Within, the VR version of the 2014 play, is at the same location on November 1, 2 & 3.
The Catastrophe Cabin yard display in Glendale remains open through November 2, 7-10pm. More info here.
Cinema Phantasmagoria continues at the Million Dollar Theatre with a screening of Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas on November 2. Reviewed here.
Coffin Creek Halloween Haunt in Corona is open November 1-3, 7:30pm-midnight on Friday and Saturday, 7-10pm on Sunday.
Bite – the immersive theatrical dining experience at the Count’s Den – continues on November 7, 14, 16, 23 & 30. Reviewed here.
Drama After Dark: A Night of the Macabre with Poe and Gorey runs on November 2, 6:30-10:30pm at Portico’s Art Space in Pasadena. More info here.
FallOutShelter: LA, a yard haunt in Azusa, is open November 1, 6-10pm. More info here.
Fears Gate is open on November 1 to compensate for the October 30 closure. Hours are 7-11pm. The venue is the Simi Valley Town Center. More info here.

Gothic Hills Cemetery in Sylmar is open November 1 & 3. The walk-through home haunt was hit hard by wind, cancelling a planned date on October 30 but has added the Sunday, November 3 date to compensate. More info here.
Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood is open November 1, 2 & 3.

Halloween: Monsters, Mummies & Mayhem continues at the Hollywood Museum through November 3 during regular business hours: 10am-5pm. This is a season rebranding of the museum’s year-round Dungeon of Doom attraction; guests in costume get $5 off regular admission price. More info here.

House of Spirits: A Haunted Cocktail Soiree continues through November 2 at the Beckett Mansion in the West Adams neighborhood of Los Angeles. Update: House of Spirits will return for an eleven-day engagement running Thursdays through Sundays from November 29 through December 15. Reviewed here.
