Description: Honoring art directors Ralph Berger and Danillo Donati, respectively, the American Cinamtheque screens the condensed version of the old black-and-white serial FLASH GORDON: ROCKETSHIP (1936) along with the 1980 color feature film FLASH GORDON.
Art director Steve Berger, son of FLASH GORDON art director Ralph Berger, will participate in a disucssion between the screenings, along with a panel of other film artists, moderated by John Muto.
