As part of its October programming, Street Food Cinema presents Cinema Phantasmagoria, "an immersive haunted theater experience" involving "a mysterious 1920's movie palace where time stands still." These Halloween horror screenings include cocktails, musicians, spooky ushers, an undead Master of Ceremonies, and an optional backstage Ghost Tour into the depths of the Million Dollar Theatre.
Titles include Halloween (1978) on October 11, Hocus Pocus on October 12, A Nightmare on Elm Street on October 13, Saw on October 18, Bram Stoker's Dracula on October 19, The Thing on October 20, Shaun of the Dead on October 25, Beetlejuice on October 26, The Conjuring on October 27, Sleepy Hollow on October 30,
and IT on Halloween Night. UPDATE: The screening of IT has been replaced with Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas on November 2.
Doors open at 5:00p. Every movie screens twice, usually starting at 6pm, but times vary; both screenings are included with admission. Back VIP Backstage Ghost Tour start every seven minutes (separate ticket required). Note: Doors open at 5:30pm for the screening of Halloween, which starts at 7pm.
Prices are $27 for General Admission, $33 for Reserved Section, $15 for Tour. Discounts for advance purchases.
