Haunted Little Tokyo Pumpkin Patch (weekdays)
October 12 @ 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 12:00pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, repeating until October 26, 2018
The Haunted Little Tokyo Pumpkin Patch is month-long outdoor marketplace for Halloween fans, which takes place in the Japanese Village Plaza on weekends and in the Japanese American Cultural & Community Center on weekdays. Purchase and decorate jack-o’-lanterns and spice up your harvest with unique varieties of squash grown by local Asian and Asian-American farmers.
Set in various locations in and around Japanese Village Plaza, Haunted Little Tokyo also features decorated shops, spooky sounds, ghostly games, and local bars with themed drink specials.
Scheduled events include screenings of Prince of Darkness on October 5, Jinro Game on October 12, Mary and the Witch's Flower on October 19, and the original Godzilla (1954) on October 25 (in conjunction with the "Kaiju vs Heroes: Mark Nagata's Journey through the World of Japanese Toys" exhibition at the Japanese American National Museum). There will be a haunted walking tour on October 13, a Haunted Little Tokyo Block Party on October 27, and Trick-or-treating on Halloween.
Hours vary by date, depending on the event, some starting as early as noon and ending as late as 10pm. Most events are free, but there are exceptions.
