Natural History of Horror Exhibition

In The Natural History of Horror, the Los Angels County Natural History Museum explores the scientific inspiration for classic monsters - including Dracula, Frankenstein, The Mummy, and Creature from the Black Lagoon. The exhibition includes rare movie props, film footage, hands-on activities, and museum specimens.
The Natural History of Horror runs from October 10 to April 19, 2020 during regular museum hours. Admission is included with a regular museum ticket; prices range from $7 for children to $15 for adults (one dollar discount for online purchases).
The exhibition will be augmented with a series of after-hours screenings, Fright Nights: The Science Behind Scary Movies: Dracula (1931) on October 11; The Creature From The Black Lagoon on February 14, 2010; Frankenstein (1931) on March 26, 2020; and The Mummy (1932) on the exhibition's final day, April 10, 2020.
