Extraordinary Tales: Trailer

In Raul Garcia’s animated film (nine years in the making), five of Edgar Allan Poe’s most terrifying tales are brought to the screen, featuring the voices of Sir Christopher Lee, Bela Lugosi, Julian Sands, Roger Corman, and Guillermo del Toro. Poe’s work has been adapted to film many times, but his short stories require padding to fill featuring-length running time; the short anthology format of Extraordinary Tales should showcase the author’s work to better effect. 73 min.

GKids releases the film on Friday, October 23, through Video on Demand and in selected theatres nationwide, including the Sundance Sunset Cinema in Los Angeles.
