Fans Strike Back: Star Wars Exhibition
The Fans Strike Back: A Star Wars Fan Exhibition is coming to the Santa Monica Art Museum in October. The event will feature collectible figurines, life-sized figures, sculptures, and recreations of iconic props: lightsabers, blasters, helmets, masks, etc. Elaborate sets will provide photo opportunities, such as sitting on the Emperor’s throne, or visitors can use a green screen to take pictures with selected Star Wars-themed backgrounds.
The Fans Strike Back: A Star Wars Fan Exhibition runs Thursday through Sunday from October 5 through November 30. Update: the schedule has been extended through January 7. Santa Monica Art Museum is located at 1219 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica. Ticket prices start at $12 for children and $23.20 for adults, with higher prices for peak times and dates and for VIP admission.
