Description: Watch out! Zombies will be taking over Santa Monica on Halloween Night. There will be a costume contest, a photo op under the pier, and lots of beverages at participating bars.

The Zombie Crawl begins at 6pm on October 31, at Rusty’s Surf Ranch Dining on the Santa Monica Pier, then moves to other locations on Ocena Front Walk, Santa Monica Boulevard, and the Third Street Promenade.

FIRST ANNUAL ZOMBIE CRAWL TAKES OVER SANTA MONICA, CA ON HALLOWEEN NIGHT

Hundreds of Zombies to Invade the Santa Monica Streets on Thursday, Oct. 31

(SANTA MONICA, Calif., Oct. 10, 2013) – The first annual Santa Monica Zombie Crawl will bring out hundreds in their best zombie garb for a chilling bar crawl in the heart of Santa Monica. Starting on the Santa Monica Pier, the undead will moan and growl their way through the city for spooky drink and food specials all night with the pub crawl wristband.

Participants must follow specific Zombie Crawl Rules to get through the streets. First, they must keep an authentic zombie appearance, keep arms extended outward, drag a limb, and finally, they must deliver vicious snarls and moans without talking.

Makeup artists will be on-site at the starting location at Rusty’s Surf Ranch on the Pier, to assist with the zombie-fying process, and an official zombie group photo will be staged under the Pier sign at 8 p.m. to magnify the zombie takeover.

Registration is from 6 – 9 p.m. at Rusty’s Surf Ranch on the Pier.

11pm-2am: Wokcano – (1413 5th Street) Official Zombie After Party (live music, dancing, costume contest)
The official Zombie Crawl wristband will give crawlers access to great food and drink specials along with $4 drafts, $5 wells and $5 shots all night, and entrance into the Official Zombie After Party at Wokcano on 5th street.

Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 day of which includes a wristband for specials at participating bars.
