Fright Fair 2012 casting call

Fright Fair ScreamPark is looking for monsters to haunt, harass, and harangue foolish victims this Halloween. If you think you have what it takes to scare Los Angeles fright fans silly, then this is the job for you. But beware: one of the highlights of this haunted attraction has always been the aggressive nature of its creepy creatures: a grim glare from a discrete distance will not be enough; you will need to get up close and personal.

Specifically, FrightFair is looking for any and all actors and non-actors who are enthusiastic for the Halloween holiday and enjoy scaring as well bringing the fun of the season to people. Prior experience is not necessary; the Fright Fair team teach will carefully instruct you in the finger points of fear-mongering. They will also supply costumes and makeup. Various roles are available, and typically there is room to bring your own ideas to the part you play. Applicants should be responsible individuals who are energetic and have the ability to develop and hold a character. Your availability during the run of the haunt will also be taken into consideration.

Would-be monsters and maniacs should show up on one of the audition days, which are Saturdays from August 25 through September 15. You will fill out an application and have an interview and an audition.

Audition dates & hours: August 25; September 1, 8 & 15, from 3pm to 7pm.

Haunt dates are September 28-30; October 5-7, 11-14, 17-21, 23-31. Hours of operation are 7pm-12am on Fridays, Saturdays and Halloween, 7pm-10pm all other days. Call times for actors can be as early as 3:30pm.
