From the Crypt: Michael Myers at HHN 2009

As you have probably heard, Michael Myers – the unstoppable slasher from John Carpenter’s Halloween – will haunt this year’s Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios, inhabiting a maze called “Halloween: Michael Myers Comes Home.” Which sent our memory floating backwards to the previous time the masked killer starred in his own maze, 2009’s “Halloween: The Life and Crimes of Michael Myers.”

Take a look at our video to remind yourselves of what Myers can do in a Halloween haunt. “The Life and Crimes of Michael Myers” suffered from reusing leftover sets from Friday the 13th‘s Camp Crystal Lake – the woodsy exteriors didn’t really fit the suburban Haddonfield setting – but there were some stand-out scenes, particularly the recreation of the death of P.J. Soles’ character. Read our Halloween Horror Nights 2009 review here.

The new maze should be substantially different, focusing on the story of John Carpenter’s original Halloween film instead of encapsulating all the sequels.
