Frozen 2 Special Events coming to El Capitan

As part of its nationwide release, Walt Disney Animation’s Frozen 2 will screen at the studio’s El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood from November 21 until December 15. The engagement will include several special events: live stage shows, photo ops, a pajama party, a Hard Rock Cafe meal deal, and a double bill of the original film and the sequel.

The festivities begin on Thursday, November 21 (a day before the official release date) with a double of Frozen and Frozen 2 starting at 4pm. Tickets for the event will include reserved seating for both movies, two 20-oz bottled drinks, souvenir popcorn container (with one refill), giveaways, surprises and more! Tickets for this event will be $50.00 per person regardless of age. Frozen 2 will screen again at 9pm and midnight at regular ticket prices.

The next morning, on Friday, November 22, there will be a Frozen 2 Breakfast and Pajama Party starting at 10am. Guests are invited to attend in family-friendly Pj’s and enjoy breakfast while watching the film. Tickets will include reserved seating for the movie, a Breakfast Cereal Bar where guests can choose their favorite bowl of cereal and coffee, tea, or hot Chocolate; plus, surprises & more. Tickets for this event will be $25 per person regardless of age.

El Capitan Theatre will offer Tiny Tot Tuesday for the first screening every Tuesday. Parents with small children watch the film the lower sound levels and with the house lights dimmed but not completely off.

During the engagement of Frozen 2, there will be a Hard Rock Cafe Movie & Meal Package costing $40.00 per person. Tickets will include reserved movie seating (no concessions) and a meal at Hard Rock Café. Advanced reservations are required (booked no later than 24 hours prior). Guests will choose one entrée from a special Hard Rock Cafe menu at the time of seating. Tax & gratuity included. Alcohol is not included, though guests may purchase on their own.

Frozen 2 will be projected in Dolby Vision™ Laser Projection and Dolby Atmos® Sound, which provide an enhanced screening experience, with brighter, sharper, more colorful visuals and dynamic surround sound. Each screening will be preceded by a live stage show featuring Anna and Elsa. Regular showtimes are 10am, 1pm, 4pm, 7:pm, and 9:50pm. Times and dates are subject to change, so check the theatre website before attending.

Regular admission prices are $14 for children and seniors, $18 for adults, and $28 for VIP tickets (includes popcorn in a VIP tub and a 20-oz bottled drink). Group rates are $12 per person for parties of twenty or more. El Capitan Theatre will also offer Red Carpet and Premiere Party Packages including Ghirardelli treats.
