Great Horror Movie Nights announces 2017 season

Great Horror Movie Nights (from Ten Thirty One Productions, the company behind the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride and the Great Horror Campout) has announced a slate of outdoor screenings for 2017, comprised mostly of classics and cult titles from the 1970s and ’80s. The series will take place at the Griffith Park Old Zoo, 4730 Crystal Springs Drive, Los Angeles, 90027. Tickets are $17 online, $25 at the door; a season pass is $89.

  • February 10: Carrie (1976)
  • March 3: John Carpenter’s The Thing (1982)
  • March 17: The Hills Have Eyes (2006 remake)
  • April 7: Fright Night (1986)
  • April 21: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)
  • May 5: Jaws (1975)
  • May 19: Halloween (1978)
