Grindhouse review at Arrow in the Head

Arrow in the Head has posted a review of GRINDHOUSE by Jimmy O. Mr. O doesn’t explain how he was fortunate enough to get a glimpse of the film this early, but he lets us know in no uncertain terms that he loved every “over-the-top blood-spewing, sore-popping, flesh-eating” moment.

Unfortunately, most of those moments appear in the first episode, “Planet Terror,” directed by Robert Rodriguez. Jimmy O finds Quentin Tarantino’s epsiode, “Death Proof,” talky, long-winded, and low on action. Yet, after twisting himself into a few verbal knots, he manages to convince himself (if not us) that he liked the episode anyway.
