More Halloween Calendar Updates: 2017 Theatrical Haunts

Hollywood Gothique wants to give a big shout-out to Dan Cziraky for help with updating our calendar section. Thanks to Dan, Hollywood Gothique’s calendar of events is closer to being complete than it has ever been in the month of October. It’s not impossibly hard to keep track of the major Halloween theme parks and and other Halloween haunts in Los Angeles, but there is so much more that is easy to overlook, especially in terms of live theatrical performances.

Sure, the Wicked Lit Halloween Theatre Festival, Drama After Dark: An Evening of the Macabre with Poe and Gorey, and the Urban Death Tour of Terror Haunted Theatre are perennials we could never forget, but myriad other seasonal plays arise every October, like an army of the living dead whose numbers are overwhelmingly large. We have never seen any of these, so we can offer no recommendations; however, Kaidan Project looks very interesting – an 80-minute, immersive theatrical experience along the lines of Delusion: A Haunted Play but with a J-Horror sensibility.

You can find these and other theatrical Halloween Haunts in the Live Performance Schedule of our events calendar. Or click on the links above to see information on specific events.
