Cinespia Halloween Cemetery Screenings
Cinepsia’s outdoor presentation provides picture and sound quality that are surprisingly good for a popup event. Their Halloween horror screenings have the obvious advantage of being set in an extremely atmospheric graveyard.
- Halloween: Saturday, October 14 at Hollywood Forever Cemetery; gates open at 5:30pm, movie starts at 7:15pm.
- The Ring: Friday, October 20 at Hollywood Forever Cemetery; gates open at 5:45pm, movie starts at 7:15pm.
- Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix: Saturday, October 21 at Hollywood Forever Cemetery; gates open at 5:30pm, movie starts at 7:15pm.
- Rosemary’s Baby plus Halloween Party: Tuesday, October 31 at the Orpheum Theatre; doors open at 7:15pm, films starts at 9pm.
Tickets: General Admission to cemetery screenings is $22, but advance parking reservation is suggested, which runs from $20 to $30 depending on the lot. The Halloween night screening and party at the Orpheum costs $32 for general admission, $64 for Premium.
Cinespia Screenings Info
Cinespia screens films in the Hollywood Forever Cemetery and other outdoor venues throughout the year, turning toward the horror genre in October. Screenings include food and drink options at a popup grill, but guests are welcome to bring their own picnic basket. Seating is on the grass; bring blankets or low lawn chairs. A DJ spins tunes, and there is a photo booth.
The annual Halloween series was cancelled in 2020 because of the Covid-19 pandemic, but Cinespia resumed outdoor events the following year.
