Vidiots Halloween Screenings
Halloween 2024 Programming: Vidiots goes horror-heavy with their October programming especially during the final weeks of the month. About Vidiots: Back in 1985, Vidiots began life as an alternative video rental store in Santa Monica, filled with hard-to-find titles in the days before streaming. Rising costs forced the original location to shut down in 2017. After raising $2-million from donors and sponsors, Vidiots began restoring the historic Eagle Theatre, which opened in June 2023, serving as the video store’s home and as a screening room, both of which operate daily. Their eclectic programming includes science fiction, fantasy, and cult movies year-round, but horror predominates during Halloween: their first October at the Eagle featured a month-long “Countdown to Halloween” series.
