For five years, Club Fear intimidated neighborhood trick-or-treaters with their pro-quality home haunt. Club Fear was impressive from its very first glance: as visitors turned the corner onto Clearidge Drive, they were greeted by an imposing facade at the end of the cul-de-sac, bedecked in spiderwebs and bathed in eerie blue light. They say you can’t judge a book by its cover, but this threatening exterior set the tone for the sinister forces at work inside. The interior walk-through packed a casket full of horror into a relatively short layout, with high-quality settings and cleverly staged scares.
After going dark during the 2020 pandemic, Club Fear reopened in 2021 for one last hurrah. After that, the owner announced that he was shutting down the haunt because he was moving to San Diego, where he planned to launch something new.
