Haunt O’ Ween L.A. Information
Haunt O’ Ween L.A. made its debut during the Halloween 2020 season as a half-hour drive-through experience, loaded with colorful settings and costumed characters dishing out characters to audiences brave enough to lower their car windows.
Restrictions were in place to prevent spread of Covid 19: Guests stayed in vehicles. Rolling windows down was optional; guests were required to wear masks if they wanted to receive candy. The cast maintained social distancing from vehicles, using long polls with nets to dump wrapped candy. Security enforced rules; guests were warned they would be ejected if they did not comply. As unpromising as this sounds, the results were charming and satisfying – a little bit like driving through a Halloween version of Disney’s It’s A Small World.
Experiential Supply, the company behind Haunt O’ Ween, also produced a Wonderland Drive-Through in December 2020.
