The Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens introduced this adults-only Halloween event in 2013. Unlike their annual child-friendly Boo at the Zoo, Night of the Living Zoo offers decorations, special effects, fortunate tellers, music, live entertainment, a full bar, and ghouls roaming the pathways. Food and drinks (full bar) available from food trucks.

For Halloween 2014, Night of the Living Zoo will feature performances by Drama After Dark, performing short plays based on the words of Poe and Gorey.
