Great American Nightmare Archival Information

Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare made its debut at the Los Angeles County Fairplex for Halloween 2013. Running on weekends from October 10 through November 2, the attraction featured dozens of live musical acts and three haunted house walk-throughs: Haunt of 1000 Corpses, The Lords of Salem, and The Haunted World of El Superbeasto 3D. The vibe was definitely rowdier than a traditional Halloween attraction but appealed well enough to its target audience to become a success.

Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare did not return to Los Angeles for 2014. Instead, it moved to engagements in other cities: Scottsdale, Arizona and Villa Park, Illinois. For 2015, the haunt moved to Odeum Expo Center in Villa Park, IL.

In 2016 the attraction went dark. The official website has not been updated since then.
