The  Ghost Tour at Strathearn Park Museum went on “hiatus” in 2015. Despite a promise to return the next Halloween, the event appears to have gone permanently to the grave.

The Strathearn Park Ghost Tour at was a walking tour that told the history of Simi Valley with actors impersonating the ghosts of historical figures. The 90-minute walk featured multiple performances, some monologues, some dramatic vignettes. Only one or two were mildly spooky. Despite the supernatural element, this was family-friendly event, not a scary haunted house.

Strathearn Historical Park & Museum does put on a Dia De Los Muertos event at the end of October/beginning of November.
