SugarMynt Gallery Welcome to Haddonfield 2017

Halloween Horror-Themed Art Exhibition

Hollywood Gothique Says:

There is much delightfully creepy art on display at SugarMynt’s annual Halloween-themed exhibition. Whether or not you a fan of the Michael Myers franchise, you are bound to find interesting treats, including posters, collectibles, and decorations inspired by John Carpenter’s Halloween and other movies with spooky season on their mind (The Nightmare Before Christmas, Hocus Pocus). The more expensive work is for serious collectors, but even if you’re not in the market for original art, Haunted Haddonfield is worth a visit just to browse.

Haunted Haddonfield General Information

Haunted Haddonfield is an annual exhibition featuring artwork inspired by John Carpenter’s 1978 horror movie, Halloween, along with behind-the-scenes photography from the film. Also on display are works inspired by other Halloween-themed movies such as Hocus Pocus and Tim Burton’s A Nightmare Before Christmas, along with the venue’s year-round collection spooky paintings, posters, and collectibles. SugarMynt Gallery Gallery is conveniently located next to the house that appeared in the opening of Carpenter’s film.

Haunted Haddonfield (which made its debut in 2015 under the name “No Beauty Without Strangeness” and was later known as “Welcome to Haddonfield” before changing to its current name) typically runs from late September through early November. The schedule often includes several special events, such as film screenings or personal appearances by featured artists.
