Los Angeles Halloween Museum Exhibitions, Art Galleries & Cemetery Tours
Here you will find an eclectic list of Los Angeles Halloween Tours and Shows: galleries devoted to macabre art; museums revealing secrets of death, dying, and spiritualism, historical tours emphasizing the sordid and the supernatural, midnight ramblings among gravestones in real cemeteries. If you enjoy the spooky thrill of wandering through ominous outdoor locations and/or allegedly haunted premises, this is the place for you.
The fright factor of these Los Angeles Halloween tours and shows varies widely. Museum events use the season to interest people in historical customs related to Halloween and beliefs in the afterlife. Tours are often educational in nature, emphasizing history rather than horror. Museum galleries may be eerie but seldom frightful, and outdoor art shows of lighted pumpkins can be outright festive.
Los Angeles Halloween Tours & Shows: Updates
With new shows and tours opening every Halloween, it can be difficult to keep up. In this space, we squeeze in any recent additions - if any - for Halloween 2020.
Los Angeles Halloween Tours & Shows: Alphabetical List
The Halloween Tours and Shows listed here are perennials that return every Halloween season. Year-round events suitable for the Halloween season are listed immediately afterward. One-offs and other events we have not reviewed are listed separately at the bottom.
Los Angeles Halloween Tours & Shows: Year-Round Events
Some year-round Los Angeles attractions have horror elements that are appropriate for Halloween, such as the Chamber of Horrors in the Hollywood Wax Museum and the Dungeon of Doom in the Hollywood Museum. The latter sometimes re-brands itself as a Halloween event during October, but you can see many of the same displays throughout the other months.
