JFI Productions: The Willows

Status: For Halloween 2023, JFI Productions one again resurrects its gothic horror play, The Willows (previously staged in the Spring of 2017 and Fall of 2022) instead of staging another edition of Creep LA.

2023 Dates: September 15 to November 19 – weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) in September, plus select week nights (Wednesday, Thursday) in October & November.

Showtimes: 6:30-8:30pm and 9:30-11:30pm nightly.

Tickets: Prices start at $200 per person. Maximum 18 guests per performance. Adults only (21 and over).

JFI Productions Information

JFI Productions entered the Halloween immersive, interactive theatrical in 2015 with Creep LA, which made a point of eschewing traditional Halloween horrors in favor of exploiting less fantastical fears. The obvious point of comparison was Delusion: A Haunted Play, but Creep LA aimed for a more subtle brand of creepy scares, minus the Hollywood-movie-style stunt work and effects. After staging different versions of Creep LA for a few years, JFI Productions gradually branched out into other productions, some of them taking place outside the Halloween season, such as 2017’s The Willows, which sold out 300 performances in the Spring of 2017.
