Riviera Village’s annual Halloween Trick or Treat Stroll is a South Bay tradition that attracts hundreds of kids. Every October 31, Catalina Avenue is closed to traffic so that trick-or-treaters may visit local shops for candy. Sometimes, other entertainment may be available, such as magic and/or puppet shows. Afterward, families can remain for dinner (preferably overlooking the Pacific Ocean).

Designed to simulate the French Riviera, Riviera Village is a secluded shopping center comprised of six blocks of unique stores, restaurants, and cafes.
