Carroll Avenue and Douglas Street in Angelino Heights

This historic Los Angeles neighborhood is famous for its Victorian mansions – perfectly suited for atmospheric yard haunts – which the locals deck out in elaborate displays for Halloween. Consequently, the area has become a popular destination spot for trick-or-treaters from around Los Angeles, known as the “Haunted District.”

Curious haunt-seekers can probably check out the decorations during the last week of October, but trick-or-treating festivities take place on October 31, of course.
