The Gorgon (1964)
The Gorgon (1964)

The American Cinematheque is presenting two Halloween Horror Film Festivals this week, one at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood and one at the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica. Below is listed the scheduled events for the Egyptian Theatre. This includes two double bills of classic horror from Hammer Studios, a dusk-to-dawn horrorthon (including Jodorowsky's bloody art house flick SANTA SANGRE, among several other titles) and a double bill of two versions of DR. JEKYLL AND MR. HYDE (1932 with Frederick March and 1941 with Spenser Tracey). This last is of particular interest to fans of horror film history, as the 1941 version is (with some notable variations) a remake of the 1931 version.
