Description: Heritage Square Museum presents its annual Halloween and Mourning Tours, which emphasize history rather than horror. See live actors in period attire explaining how our ancestors regarded Halloween and the after-life. Learn about Victorian customs related to death and dying; attend the funeral with a hard-boiled gangster theme; take part in a seance.
The Heritage Square Museum Halloween and Mourning Tours take place on Saturday and Sunday, October 25 and 26, from noon to 4pm both days. Sunday’s version is more family-friendly, with crafts and spooky stories for children 2 to 12.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors over 65, and $8 for children 6-12; admission is free for children under 6.
