Halloween Overload

It was a busy weekend for Hollywood Gothique. Not only did we visit several home haunts; we also took a ride on the Los Angeles Live Steamers Ghost Train, revisited Boney Island, and attended a trio of live shows:

  1. Edgar Allan Poe at Force of Nature Productions was excellent, but it was a one-weekend only event.
  2. Dr. Zomba’s Ghost Show of Terror was as much fun the second time as when we saw it in June; it will be back at the Complex Hollywood for shows on October 26-27 & November 3.
  3. Señor Plummer’s Final Fiesta (the new show from Rogue Artists Ensemble, creators of last year’s excellent Kaidan Project), is thoroughly enjoyable, though only tangentially connected to the Halloween season; it runs on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays through November 18.

We will be back with more coverage of these events, particularly the Griffith Park Ghost Train (whose station is pictured at top), which has added some exciting elements for Halloween 2018

In the meantime, we remind you that this is the last full week of October before Halloween Night. Time to finalize your schedules and make sure you get to all your favorite haunts before it’s too late.
