LA Theatre Gothique

Halls of Horror reopens its door this week

Starting Thursday, Halls of Horror opens its doors for another season of Halloween haunting. Produced by the Theatre Department at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, the event features two immersive shows that blur the lines between haunted house walkthrough and interactive theatrical experience. On offer this year are The Mine and The Carnival.

In an era when popup haunts are practically extinct, Halls of Horror delivers an entertaining show that Halloween fans will enjoy, even though it is a non-a non-professional production (check out our review from last year).

This year’s show runs Thursday through Saturday on October 19-21 and 26-28th. Performances start at half-hour intervals 6:30 till 9:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Last performance starts at 7:30pm on Thursday the 19th and at 8:3pm on Thursday the 26th.

Tickets are $25 for general admission and $40 for VIP. Both plays are included for a single ticket price.

Los Angeles County High School for the Arts is located in Building 20 at CAL State LA. The address is 5151 State University Drive in Los Angeles. Get ticket information here.
