Happy Halloween 2020!

Hollywood Gothique wishes a safe and happy Halloween to all its readers. Whatever your plans for tonight, wear your mask, and maintain your social distance. October 31 has an undeserved reputation for danger (i.e., myths about razor blades in apples etc), but there is a genuine risk this year if you're careless.

We're not trying to be alarmist. Covid-19 transmission is unlikely in an outdoor setting, as when trick-or-treating door to door. But we have been to more than one home haunt where visitors were so focused on taking selfies that they wandered blithely into our personal space, sometimes maskless.

Don't be that person. Stay safe; protect yourself and others. And have a great Halloween.
