Nightmare Before Christmas returning to El Capitan
Update: Surprise news! Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas will return to El Capitan for two weekends, screening at 9:55pm on on October 22-24 and 29-31.

Disney’s El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood continues its annual tradition of screening Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas during the month of October. This year, the Halloween cinema celebration will also include Hocus Pocus. The separate engagements for the films will include prop displays and photo ops in the lobby, plus live music in the theatre before the screenings. Nightmare Before Christmas will be presented in its 3D version with live effects in the theatre.
Hocus Pocus will run from October 1 to 7, followed by The Nightmare Before Christmas from October 8 through 17. Seating will be reserved. Tickets are on sale now; prices are $15 for adults and $12 for children (3-11) and senior(60+). El Capitan Theatre is located at 6838 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood.

In addition, The Mighty Wurlitzer Organ will be played before all screenings of the film Friday through Sunday.
October 8 to 17 will be the 27th annual presentation of Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” shown in 3D with interactive 4D sensory effects. El Capitan guests can also enjoy “The Nightmare Before Christmas” photo mural and prop display before and after the show, and specialty concession items. The Mighty Wurlitzer Organ will be played before all screenings.
