Hollywood influence on Halloween in Los Angeles

Just got off the phone with a reporter from DPA International, a Berlin-based news wire service. The subject: the influence of the Hollywood entertainment industry on Halloween in Los Angeles. I think the basic premise was that the proliferation of industry professionals yields a higher quality of makeup and costuming at local events and yard haunts. I pointed out that, although there are professional people involved, it’s often amateur enthusiasts who are responsible for some of the best home haunts around town.

Since this was for a wire service, there is no telling where the resulting article might show up. It will be sent out DPA’s clients around the world, and it’s up to them to decided when and where to publish. We’ll let you know if we can find it.
