Horrorthon returning to Aero Theatre, plus more Cinematheque horror

After a year off because of the 2020 pandemic, the American Cinematheque will present its 16th annual Halloween Horrorthon at the Aero Theatre on Saturday, October 23. Hosted by “Corn Gorn the Living God,” the marathon event will feature screenings of classic and cult film ranging from the sublime to the ridiculous (we’ll leave you to decide which is which). Titles In the Mouth of Madness, It’s Alive, Nightbeast, House of Wax (2005), Horror Express, and The Brain.

The American Cinematheque is presenting a few more Halloween horror screenings at Los Feliz Theatre: THE RAVEN on Saturday, October 23 at| 1:30pm; FREAKS introduced by Julie Delpy on Sunday October 24 at 1:30pm; and POSSESSION on Sunday October 24 at 10pm. All of these screenings take place in Los Feliz 3 Theatre at 1822 N Vermont Ave Los Angeles.

This is a vaccinated-only screening.
