Into the Black on hiatus for Halloween 2019
More said news for Halloween 2019: Into the Black will not be in operation this year. There terrifying walk-through made a spectacular debut in 2017 and expanded into a three-maze multi-haunt in 2018, rechristened Horror World. The plan had been to occupy an empty department store in the Puente Hills Mall for 2019, and an announcement was made in June that a new location and ticket prices would be revealed soon. Alas, that was not to be.
Into the Black made the announcement on their Facebook page today, stating “with a heavy heart…that INTO THE BLACK is not going to open in 2019. We fought for many locations and are to the point of no return. We want to thank everyone who came and walked through the house of the devil for the past 2 years! Thank you to all the press and media who gave us such glowing reviews! Thank you to all our cast and crew for bringing our vision to life! Thank you to our Black boot crew for everything you’ve done to create an amazing haunted attraction! See you on the other side…”
As of now there is no definite word on whether this hiatus will be permanent.
