Mourning Rose Manor

Here are some last-minute additions that you will not find on our Halloween Yard Haunts page. We have not visited any of these amateur haunted attractions, so we cannot vouch for them personally. If you happen to encounter any of their spooky spirits this Halloween, drop us a line and let us know what you think.

5250 Aurelia St., Simi Valley
Dates: October 1-31

The ghosts of times long past are already stirring and waiting for their chance to walk among you. Will you come and greet them? They’re always looking for company. Come stay a while…a long while….

2125 Punta Del Este St. in Hacienda Heights, CA
Date: Halloween night only

This yard haunt, in existence for ten years starts as a maze in the front yard, wraps all the way around the house, through the garage, and then an additional maze is built on the end. It’s crazy and I think that you would really enjoy this one. It would definitely be worth it for you to check it out. Not for little kids, but if a child does go through, the monsters are alerted on a radio to tone down.

1253 S Leaf Avenue,- West Covina CA, 91791.
Date: Halloween Night, from the first Trick-or-Treater to the last (perferably 5pm-8pm)

Freddy Krueger has come to West Covina to deliver fearful frights. Come face to face with the master of the machete, Jason Voorhees and the chainsaw-wielding Leatherface. Find your way through darkness while encountering Michael Myers. Get trapped with SAW. And last but not least, confront the boogie man himself, Freddy Krueger.

NOTE: We also received word of a great-sounding haunt in Long Beach, loaded with pneumatic effects. Unfortunately, the enthusiastic advocate for this haunt neglected to inform us of its name or address, except that it is “off 36 Street.” If anyone knows about this one, please pass along the information!
